Lead Engineer – Platforms, Cloud, Infrastructure, Software Development, Mobile/Android – Hybrid
I am currently hiring for a leading Information Technology client based in Bristol who specialize in leading edge Software, Infrastructure, Systems Integration/Design and Mobile Solutions for an interesting mix of industries.
The Lead Engineer will have a demonstrable history of leading and motivating a diverse mix of teams (Cloud, On-prem, Infrastructure, Mobile, Software Development etc.) in a fast-paced but collaborative environment. As well as being a strong and strategic technical leader you will also have experience shaping systems architectures whilst following best practices. You will be a “hands-on” technologist who can contribute to and solution at every layer of the technology stack (infrastructure modules, apks, service desks etc). Further technical aptitude will include building on and in private, hybrid and public cloud environments (AWS/Azure), including IaC languages like Terraform. Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and programming in Python, and Go. Android experience to include AOSP, custom ROMs and drivers, Kotlin, Java, C, C++. You will also be the key decision maker and problem owner/solutioner for the teams you lead.
£75,000 to £90,000 pa (DOE) and excellent benefits package.
