Principal Engineer – Systems Engineering (Integration, Verification & Validation) Location:

Negotiable dependant on experience What you’ll be doing: Capture and agreed technical requirements in accordance with company and programme processes Deliver compliant technical solutions against contractual requirements and regulations Deliver design change requirements and documentation generated, captured, configured and controlled in accordance with company processes Provide specialist technical input, review and support into projects beyond immediate scope as an independent thereof Leverage systems experience and knowledge in both the tactical and strategic development of other engineers and relevant members of other supporting functions Your skills and experiences: Essential: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a STEM subject Experience and knowledge in Requirements and Integration Verification and Validation (IVV) of products Experience in carrying out test facilitation Handling of defects in test reports Authoring of test specifications Desirable: Attained or progressing towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status Previous exposure of working with Submarines ISTQB qualification Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.
