Paying up to 61,500 (DOE)
Responsibilities :
Undertaking design proving and integration trials on cutting-edge in-build and in-service submarine combat systems.
Taking overall responsibility for specific trials including planning, organizing, leading, analyzing and reporting.
Leading, mentoring, and supporting other members of the Integration team in your area of specialty when required.
Performing platform-based trials on submarines.
Undertaking peer reviews or checking/verification tasks as directed.
Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company SHE and local processes and policies.
Experience required:
Significant knowledge and expertise in Systems Engineering - IVV process and practices in the defence, maritime or closely linked industry and the correct recognition of the context of their work within the overall business.
Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle with experience of operating in the phase relevant to the role and awareness of the entire engineering lifecycle.
The technical understanding of the context of their work within the overall product and platform/programme.
A strong understanding of another related project, products, programme, domains, discipline and functional teams of submarines or equivalent external bodies.
A strong working understanding of Product Safety and SHE.
