Are you ready to dive into the world of cutting-edge video game development? Join our dynamic team and become a key player in shaping gaming experiences. We're currently seeking a Principal Gameplay Programmer to join our team. As a Gameplay Programmer, you'll be at the forefront of an exciting project, implementing new gameplay mechanics and contributing to improving existing ones. You will make a positive impact on the programming team code quality and code best practice, especially regarding replication/networking best practices in regards to gameplay programming. In this role you will: Write clear, maintainable and well-documented code. Debug and optimize your code at a low and high levels to ensure optimal performance and quality. Assess and communicate around the possible impacts of a change in the code. Participate actively in code reviews. Work within a cross-discipline team on the development of various game features – mostly related to the 3C or usability (general game mechanics). Test carefully the newly implemented features and suggest improvements. What we're looking for: You write clear and maintainable code for at least 6 years. You possess previous experience in gameplay programming with at least one game shipped. You have previous experience working with Unreal4 or Unreal5 on networking games/online multiplayer games. You have a good understanding of a client/server environment in Unreal Engine. You are comfortable programming in C++. You love solving challenging technical problems with the most effective solution. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You thrive on change and can adapt to changing needs and requirements. Nice to have: Experience with multiplatform and live games.
