Principal Consultant - Building & Civil Engineering 21+ Years Experience Company Overview:

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will be the sole Geotechnical Engineer, leading a range of geotechnical projects across the marine and offshore industries. This position offers flexible working arrangements, including site, office, or home-based options, providing you with autonomy to manage your projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive geotechnical analysis and design for marine and offshore projects.

Lead and manage projects, liaising directly with clients and overseeing project teams.

Supervise and coordinate ground investigations and geological assessments.

Perform water geotechnical analysis.

Engage with professional organizations such as the ICE, Geological Society, and SUT.

Ideal Candidate:

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on seabed mapping.

Proficiency in geotechnical software such as ArcGIS, Global Mapper, PLAXIS, and GRL WEAP.

Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.

Progressing towards chartership or already chartered with a recognized professional body.
