The post of Principal is a new role and reflects the joining of the Hereford Cathedral Junior School and Senior School into a single organisation, alongside the expansion of the Foundation through international and commercial projects. The current Headmaster, Dr Michael Gray, has been appointed Executive Headmaster and CEO of the Foundation with whom overall responsibility both for the School and the wider Foundation rests under the Governors. This new post provides a unique opportunity to help shape the School at this exciting time of development. The Principal at Hereford Cathedral School is responsible for the operational leadership and day-to-day management of the 3-18 co-educational day and boarding school. Reporting directly to the Executive Headmaster and CEO of the Hereford Cathedral School Foundation, the Principal will ensure the smooth running of the institution while fostering an environment of academic excellence, pastoral care, boarding excellence and holistic development. This role requires a strong leader who is committed to upholding the School’s ethos, Christian values, and traditions, while contributing to the overall strategic vision set by the Foundation.
