The Opportunity As our client continues to grow and deliver exciting and significant projects providing engineering support and construction delivery to their clients in the Nuclear and Defence sectors, they are currently looking for an experienced Principal HVAC Engineer to support their Team in Stockton on Tees.

Contract Estimated Duration - 12 months This role has been deemed inside of IR35. Qualifications & Experience You will have the following qualifications & experience:

Providing the site based focal point for HVAC related issues that arise during manufacture, construction and commissioning and liaising with the Responsible Designer where design intent may be affected. Reviewing and responding to site generated and supplier technical queries, concession requests, commissioning reservations, etc. Managing HVAC instructed change either on site or via the Responsible Designer, as appropriate. Managing drawing configuration for the HVAC deliverables through the redline process or through the Responsible Designer. Interfacing with appropriate Design Lead Engineers, Package Managers, Section Engineers, Quality, Commissioning and Handover teams. Maintaining the configured HVAC design. Advising Construction on installation methods and constructability. Participating in constructability design reviews. Acting as custodian of design & engineering documentation on site. You will be required to obtain BPSS security Clearance before starting. MEng / BEng in Mechanical Engineering Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (Preferred).
