Our client, a well-respected civil and structural engineering Consultancy with offices across the UK, is seeking a competent Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join the team and assist in leading the design and implementation of drainage systems across the Midlands.

Working as a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from residential and commercial developments to infrastructure and environmental initiatives. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and professionals committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyse drainage systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct site assessments and surveys to identify drainage requirements and constraints. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications. Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to develop tailored drainage solutions. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in drainage engineering.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in civil drainage engineering, including design, analysis, and project management. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as PDS, Microdrainage, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and StormCAD. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Candidates will likely be Chartered or working towards it with ICE.
