This could be the role for you! Principal Mechanical Design Engineer
needed for a successful and expanding market leader. We wish to appoint a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer who will provide accurate design solutions by using CAD to support members of the design and production teams. It is important that you have experience of designing for highly regulated markets and that you can take responsibility for people and projects so that deadlines are met. Experience of sheet metal design is important. You'll split your time between hands-on design work and managing a small but expanding team of mechanical engineers on design, test, verification, and production engineering activities. Role and Responsibilities
Design of close tolerance machined components, castings and moulded parts, pressed metal components, design and component selection Build and manage complex 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings Creating design layouts and schematics for design solutions Accountability for cradle to grave ownership of a product or design Skills and Abilities
A minimum of 5 years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer A relevant qualification in a Mechanical Engineering discipline Experience of sheet metal design work Team leadership / supervisory experience preferred If this role could appeal, please do apply now.
