They are looking for a skilled mechanical design engineer to be a subject matter expert and lead throughout the entire design process. This is a hybrid role. Key Responsibilities
Support all Mechanical designs throughout entire process, including FEA and CFD analyses. Ensure the mechanical team are conforming to applicable processes during design, development and build, and ensure compliance to all applicable requirements. Produce, review and approve technical documentation to support on-time programme delivery and utilise CAD. Analyse and justify mechanical based designs and component selection. Produce, review and approve mechanical technical documentation (drawings, documents and Bill of Materials (BOM)). Skills & Experience
Strong experience in a Mechanical Design Engineering position. Engineering degree in related discipline (or extensive mechanical design experience without a degree). Understanding and working knowledge of mechanical related Defence Standards. Ability to work independently on own initiative, as well as within a collaborative team environment. Ability to work under pressure in a complex and rapidly changing environment. Additional Benefits
