Principal Mechanical Engineer - Nuclear Industry - Up to £80,000 Your new company Your new company is a Global Engineering Consultancy who are experts in numerous engineering sectors with a turnover exceeding £1 Billion+. Within this role, you will solely focus on their Nuclear Projects and support the consultancy/operational delivery/design for major projects. Your new role As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in effective management of customers, including liaison and relationship development with existing and new customers, to aid the development of business, resolution of technical and delivery issues, and ensuring the customer is informed of progress. In addition, you will ensure procedures, codes, and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities. You will also produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation, and technical reports as assigned. Because the team is growing, you will have the opportunity to grow the team as the business continues to win work. This is an exciting opportunity to grow beyond being a Principal Engineer and develop into Senior Management. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Principal or Senior Mechanical Engineer within the Nuclear Sector. Desirable experience would be within Nuclear Ventilation, Mechanical Handling, or Nuclear Process Equipment, vessels, or machinery, but this isn't essential. What you'll get in return In return for this role, you will receive an excellent base salary between £75,000 - £80,000 plus excellent benefits including holidays & pensions, membership fees paid for, and training & development plans.
