Principal Mechanical Engineer . If you're applying for the Principal Engineer – Mechanical Services position, you should have a solid background in the sectors the company work in. It's preferred that you're a Chartered Mechanical Building Services Engineer and have managed medium-sized projects or handled parts of large projects before. In this role, you'll lead a team to ensure quality work on projects and assist Associates in managing the local Mechanical Services team. Building good relationships with clients, both inside and outside the company, is crucial for the company' success. Proficiency in managing small project teams, overseeing recruitment, resourcing, and professional development. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex ideas effectively. Ability to cultivate enduring relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring long-term benefits. Extensive technical expertise in designing Mechanical Building Services systems, particularly HVAC and Public Health. Experience in using specialized software such as Navisworks and NBS Create/Chorus; familiarity with additional tools like IES Thermal Modelling, AutoCAD, and Revit is desirable.
