We're looking for a Principal or Associate Fire Engineer to help mentor and lead our Melton crew. Main Duties

Delivery and management of fire engineering and fire safety design projects. Working individually and as part of a team to win or deliver projects. Provide management and supervision to the fire engineer team and report into our technical directors. Preparation and delivery of fire safety training courses. Communicate and promote core values throughout the company. Line management responsibilities - you will be expected to engage and monitor employee performance and report performance reviews to directors. Monitor project progress and manage deadlines efficiently. Outward-facing role working directly with clients to fulfill their needs. Ensure projects are suitably invoiced. Promote and ensure technical excellence. Attend client meetings/external meetings as required. Facilitate and provide assistance with CPD events. Represent the company on technical and policy steering groups/committees. Engage with marketing initiatives and attend promotional events. Provision of quality assurance and peer review services for company employees and associates/support ISO 9001.2015 QMS processes. What we ask for

MSc Fire Engineering degree for 5 years, or BEng/BSc degree for 7 years. FIFireE/FRM Accreditation. Accredited with an appropriate 3rd party review scheme. CEng/application in process. Typically 5-10 years' experience in a consultancy or similar environment. Extensive knowledge and experience of UK fire safety legislation and standards. Extensive experience delivering fire engineered solutions for UK-based projects. Development and implementation of fire strategies, projects and research initiatives. Ability to work under pressure and deliver maximum results. Excellent report writing and communication skills - be collaborative and engaging. Ability to multi-task - you will be required to work on multiple projects concurrently, to tight deadlines. Proven ability to work remotely both individually and as part of a team. Proven ability to develop a network of clients and colleagues. Understand and manage the scope and relevant programme constraints of projects. Flexible and adaptable during company growth. Rewards
