Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning teams who consistently delivers a high level of service?
I am working with a number of clients in the home counties who are looking for experienced principal planning officers.
You will be mainly working from home, with the exception of site visits and key meetings. The office location can be discussed upon application to the role.
You will be required to work both individually and as part of a team to continue the high level of service that the local authority operate to currently. You will be managing major caseloads of applications so must be comfortable with this.
To be successful in this position you MUST HAVE: ·Experience working on greenbelt, major and complex applications ·Be comfortable working from home and using Microsoft Teams/Zoom ·Please note this role would suit an experienced senior planning officer looking to make the step up to principal planning officer OR a principal planning officer looking for more responsibility. Role & Responsibilities: ·You will be involved in working on a mixed caseload including major applications ·Mentoring some of the more junior planning officers ·Working as part of a team to ensure all targets and deadlines are met. On offer is an hourly rate of up to £50p/h depending on experience.
