CK Group are recruiting for a Principal Product Regulatory Compliance Consultant to join a technical and engineering consultancy company. This role can be either remote or hybrid, with travel required to the company's site based near Dorking. This is a full time, permanent role.

The Company: Our client is a global leader in technical consultancy and engineering, with a diverse team based in various countries worldwide. They are now looking to add to their Energy Engineering Solutions Division. The Principal Product Regulatory Compliance Consultant will work within the Regulatory Compliance Discipline which focuses on enabling clients to navigate complex Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) regulations and standards, empowering sustainable, compliant growth across industries. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of ESG compliance for clients ranging from innovative startups to global multinationals. The company offers a salary in the range of £65-75,000 depending on experience, as well as 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, the option to buy more holiday, healthcare cover, pension, life assurance, cycle to work scheme, employee perks such as retail discounts, generous recruitment referral bonus, and 4 half days paid leave for STEM Ambassadors. Please note there will be up to 25% travel in this role, primarily within the UK and Europe.

Principal Product Regulatory Compliance Consultant Role: Your main duties will be a combination of relationship building and technical delivery: Identify opportunities for consultancy projects and lead the preparation of compelling proposals. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Keep abreast of ESG-related legislative changes and trends to position the company at the forefront of the market. Advocate for the company's capabilities through social media and other professional platforms. Lead complex ESG regulatory compliance projects, ensuring delivery to quality, time, and budget standards. Task, supervise, and provide technical assurance for project teams. Conduct detailed technical research, analyzing engineering and legal texts. Deliver high-quality consultancy reports and technical presentations to clients. Collaborate closely with colleagues and clients to achieve desired project outcomes. Act as a mentor and coach to less experienced colleagues, fostering growth and development. Collaborate with other disciplines and practices within the company to continually enhance our market-leading technical capabilities.

Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience: Proven industry experience in ESG compliance, engineering consultancy, regulatory compliance, including a proven track record as a Senior Consultant or equivalent role. Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering/scientific discipline - essential (post-graduate preferred). Ideally Chartered Engineer/Scientist status (or working towards it). Deep expertise in ESG regulations and a strong industry network. Exceptional skills in client relationship management, project delivery, and business development. Proven ability to write high-quality, objective, and impactful consultancy reports.
