Perform in-depth psychological assessments for service users using various methods, including tests, self-report scales, structured observations, and interviews. Develop and execute tailored psychological treatment plans addressing mental health and adjustment challenges, informed by a multi-dimensional understanding and current best practices. Offer expert psychological insights to the multidisciplinary team to shape and refine therapeutic strategies and intervention plans, and supervise their application. Conduct psychological risk assessments and manage risks for service users, providing informed advice to team members as required. Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support the advancement and quality of clinical services. Support Service Managers and Regional Managers in service management tasks and provide reports to the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist. Requirements of the Principal Psychologist: Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) accredited by the BPS. Demonstrate the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex clinical information, and use this to guide effective team collaboration. Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to handle complex and sensitive issues. Possess strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage a diverse workload. Experience in administering and interpreting a variety of psychometric tests is essential. Have a proven track record in clinical research or audit. Bring experience in neurorehabilitation and a keen interest in neuropsychology, with a commitment to advancing service excellence.
