Your new role At the intermediate level, you will work on larger projects as part of a team, but also handle your own smaller projects. You will manage your time to meet deadlines and ensure that detailed designs meet required standards. Additionally, you will supervise the work of graduate engineers and apprentices and use industry-standard software for design calculations. At the senior/principal level, you will take a leading role in representing this client on MEP projects, managing your own discipline and coordinating with engineers from other disciplines. You will complete detailed designs, supervise others, mentor junior engineers, and manage project tasks and deadlines. If you are the project manager, you will coordinate tasks, allocate resources, and oversee project finances for successful completion. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Engineer with a client-focused attitude and solid experience in building services installations. The candidate will work as part of a team, manage their own project work, undertake detailed design and maintain excellent levels of client service. The candidate must have a proven and demonstrable track record in their discipline, an accredited honours degree, and be working towards IEng or CEng status. They must also have an interest in or experience using digital and parametric design tools.
