As our business continues to grow, we are looking for another Principal Engineer to join our highly motivated team.
Broker Insights are looking to reinvent the product set and, as an experienced developer, you will be working within the Broker Insights technical team to make the next generation of products a reality. This will mean helping set architectural direction so that products are not only fit for purpose initially, but also provide a suitable base for ongoing development and upgrade.
The person filling this role will have at least five years of experience building and improving world class solutions, which include data analysis and visualisation. You will be an experienced cloud developer and understand how to put together performant and secure cloud-based solutions which make use of cutting-edge cloud technology.
With a focus on team productivity, you will have experience of being the technical lead on projects. This will include setting technical direction, evaluating 3rd party tools for inclusion in the platform and also mentoring more junior staff to ensure team productivity. You will have a good understanding of effective team processes such as code review and automated testing.
As a creative thinker with high levels of self-motivation, you’ll be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business, and will bring your desire to build, test and fix things to our constantly evolving and fast paced business. To ensure your success in this role, you’ll also ideally hold formal qualifications in a related discipline.
