Principal Software Engineer

to join their team in the UK. They are looking for proficient Senior Software Developers/Engineers to expand and develop the Software stream of their business. The company’s flagship product is a unique Software as a Service (SaaS) for the construction and asset management industries. It manages the production of 3D models and data associated with large-scale, complex building and infrastructure projects, providing unrivaled data management functions and visualization tools for architects, engineers, construction professionals, and asset managers. The responsibilities of the

home-based Principal Software Engineer

will include: Responsible for the product lifecycle, from design and prototyping through to execution and deployment. Assist in the leadership and mentoring of junior members of the team and provide technical assistance throughout the business. Assist with client queries. Involved in analysis and distribution, progressing to design and development. There is very little requirement for customer-facing activity. However, there are options to progress into a team leader or engineering management role as the company expands. About the product:

A positive, can-do attitude with a clear focus Enjoys tackling complex requirements and intellectual challenges Experience in C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, and SQL dialects to an expert level Experience with tooling such as profilers and DCVS like Git Strong understanding of software development, clean code, and data structure design A hunger to learn new skills Multi-tasking and priority-focused mindset Essential to have or be able to complete Security Clearance Any of the following skills are a major benefit: Leadership/Management A period of acclimatization, training, and familiarization with the company’s products, systems, and services will be provided for the successful applicant.
