Principal Structural Engineer to join their consultancy based in London. The core purpose of this role is to ensure that best Structural Engineering design practices are applied within the office and managing and delivery. This position would suit a recently Chartered Structural Engineer with a good breadth of experience, typically in the Consultancy sector that is looking to progress to a AD Structural Engineer at fast pace.
Principal Structural Engineer Position Overview
Manage and coach others to enable them to develop professionally and progress within the business. Project management including the preparation of quotations for Professional Services and investigations, scheduling of work for delivery on time/budget/quality. Maintain the existing client base as well as generate new clients and areas of work. Preparation of fee quotations for approval of Directors. Planning and management of Structural Engineering design services and related work - ensuring delivery to time and budget. Adhering to all company systems, procedures, work instructions. All other reasonable instructions from Directors.
Principal Structural Engineer Position Requirements
Chartered Structural Engineer with ICE or IStructE. 3D structural analysis experience. Proven ability to meet and exceed turnover targets, working to timescales and within budgets. Preparation of specifications, tender and contract documents experience. Able to develop working relationships with fellow professionals and clients, with well-grounded excellent technical details.
