Up to £60k We are currently seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join a successful Architectural and Structural Design practice in Newark. The primary work stream is industrial/manufacturing facilities, where they work from land acquisition stage providing due diligence advice, all the way through planning, tender and construction (detailed design) stages. They also work on mainstream residential and commercial builds. In order to be considered for this Principal Structural Engineer role you will: The candidate will ideally have Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE or IStructE. Experience with design in multiple materials and analysis and design of varied building forms. The candidate will be working within a mixed civil/structural engineering team. Preferably they will be competent in either field; however, candidates stronger in one are acceptable so long as they are prepared to represent all areas, for example at meetings and taking key actions back to specific designers if necessary. The majority of our work is industrial/manufacturing, though we also undertake commercial and bespoke activities. Ability to manage project finances and company marketing to a high level. The role would be to support a current Associate Engineer/Director.
