Roles and Responsibilities Lead the structural design and analysis process for various building projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Utilize advanced engineering tools and methodologies to deliver efficient and innovative structural solutions. Guide and mentor junior engineers and team members, fostering skill development, technical expertise, and professional growth. Act as a technical advisor to support the team in solving complex engineering challenges. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project objectives. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution. Perform thorough quality reviews of structural designs and documentation, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential structural vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies. Apply advanced structural analysis and design software to develop detailed models and optimize structural performance. Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies to enhance the design process and maintain a competitive edge in the industry. Skills and Experience Significant experience in structural engineering with relevant professional qualifications including an accredited post-graduate level degree. Proven expertise in both qualitative and quantitative aspects of structural design and analysis for buildings. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and provide mentorship to support professional growth and development within the team. Proficient in the use of advanced structural design and analysis software. Please note that full and permanent right to work in the UK is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
