to join their existing team in

Plymouth

(mostly remote working, onsite every 6 to 8 weeks) on a 2 year contract. The Role As a

Principal Structural Engineer , you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the buildings designs by the subconsultant. Your responsibilities will include the following but not limited to: Management of the multidisciplinary design elements of the structures, ensuring designer technical performance and making appropriate technical responses. Provide Subject Matter Expert advice. Provide Technical design guidance and review of the overall design packages. Provide Technical design guidance and review integration of the designs with other design packages. Ensure that the design documentation covers the scope of operations required by the Project Manager and is produced to agreed standards, schedule and budget. Plan for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and effectively contributing to the project's technical planning process. You To succeed within the role of a

Principal Structural Engineer , you'll have experience in a similar position and have the following skills: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Chartered Engineer, registered with Engineering Council or working towards chartership. Experience of major new buildings, preferably multistorey buildings with multi functionality (hospitals etc.). Good knowledge in Seismic Structural Design. Please note that due to the security nature of this role, we can only consider those who are British nationals AND are eligible for SC security clearance.
