Role & Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Lead structural engineering projects, particularly in residential and heritage sectors. Conduct structural surveys and produce comprehensive reports. Assess existing structures and recommend remedial solutions. Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and practical engineering designs. Oversee projects from initial concept to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and budget adherence. Mentor and support junior engineers. Stay informed of industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Requirements BEng/MSc/MEng (or equivalent) in Civil/Structural Engineering (2:1 or above). Chartered status (or actively working towards chartership) with IStructE or ICE. Minimum of 4 years' UK design experience. Strong technical expertise and a passion for continued learning. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Experience with Tekla and TEDDS is desirable. A driven and ambitious mindset with a strong commitment to success.
