Act as a trusted subject matter expert in Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), providing strategic guidance to internal and external stakeholders. Lead, coach, and mentor teams in applying Systems Engineering principles, tailoring best practices to meet project and program needs effectively. Take ownership of key activities, ensuring systems are developed and delivered efficiently, while effectively communicating and negotiating with stakeholders to optimise outcomes. Leverage your domain expertise while quickly adapting to new technical areas and challenges. Collaborate seamlessly across engineering disciplines and functions to ensure integrated, high-quality solutions. Your Skills and Experiences:
A seasoned Systems Engineer with a strong grasp of the full engineering lifecycle and practical expertise in Systems Engineering methodologies and processes. Solid foundation in the core principles of engineering, including physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Educated to degree level in a STEM-related discipline or possessing equivalent professional experience. Broad awareness of the multifaceted disciplines that influence system design, including engineering branches, management, logistics, and commercial considerations. Affiliation with a professional institution, ideally Chartered or actively working towards Chartership. Proven ability to coach, mentor, and support the development of colleagues. Benefits:
