As a Principal Technical Safety Engineer at Worley, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) aspects of the design within the project scope are maintained to the relevant acceptable standards and comply with applicable legislation. In addition, execute and monitor Safety Engineering. You'll be:

Leading and coordinating the activities and deliverables allocated to the location in accordance with the project schedule. Preparation of a Safety Engineering Plan and Basis of Design. Undertaking Technical Safety Reviews such as Human factors, Hazardous Area Classification, Inherent Safety, Alarm Prioritisation, etc. Acting as the Technical Safety SME on the project work package, supporting the Lead Safety Engineer, project management and engineering disciplines with design HSE concerns and queries. In summary, the Principal Safety Engineer, as part of the UK Safety Engineering discipline, shall undertake design activities allocated to them by the line manager in accordance with the applicable standards and legislation. You'll have:

Relevant Safety Engineering Degree (MSc) or equivalent. Extensive experience in technical safety, ideally within the petrochemicals, refining, oil and gas industry. Expertise in Green Hydrogen, large onshore greenfield energy projects, FEED and EPC phase work. FEED and PMC experience is desirable. Experience in performing consequence modelling using proprietary software i.e. PHAST and breadth of experience in risk assessment techniques. Working knowledge and understanding of CFD modelling and track record of the management and coordination of 3rd Party work scopes. HAZOP/HAZID/SIL/LOPA/FERA/OBRA/QRA Experience. Moving Forward:
