to work for our Central Government client on an initial 9 month assignment. Location:

London/Bristol/Manchester (hybrid working) About the role:

Artificial Intelligence has the potential to transform how the Public Sector uses technology and how it delivers services to citizens. From AI assistance in doing day-to-day work to new ways of working, you will be helping your colleagues across government use the technology as effectively, and as safely, as possible. Principal Technologists are currently focused on Artificial Intelligence, DevOps, Platforms and Colleague Experience, making these easier for organisations of all sizes, identifying opportunities and managing the aggregate risks of these technologies to UK Government. You will manage and mentor a Lead Technologist aligned to you and your team, who can support you when you need to rapidly deep-dive into a topic to achieve outcomes. Essential Skills:

The ideal candidate will have a recent background within Design/Architecture with recent Artificial Intelligence/machine learning as with the following experience: experience setting a vision and leading digital and data change experience designing and building technology and to be able to use this to build credibility with others, evaluate proposals and decide an execution approach experience engaging with suppliers/vendors both formally and informally comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders, both technical (such as CTOs / CDOs across Government) and non-technical (including ministers and permanent secretaries) learning to be embedded in the way you approach your working week, and you should be keen to share your learning with those around you through coaching and mentoring Technical Skills: AI/ML & Data Science [fundamental level] Architecture/design hands-on implementation and delivery of ML systems complex data pipelines large scale LLM fine tuning & testing evaluation & profiling aware of other ML systems AI adoption with departments performance, optimisation on ML requirements ability to speak to non-tech about technology To apply, please submit your latest CV for review.
