The Opportunity
This is a pivotal role for a Principal Test Engineer to design and implement an
automation-first strategy . You’ll be the key point of escalation for the testing function, driving change and improving processes to meet the demands of a modern, tech-focused organisation.
The environment is currently heavily
manual , and your mission will be to introduce
robust automation frameworks
that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
What You’ll Be Doing
Designing and implementing test automation frameworks using
Selenium with .NET . Migrating existing test processes from
Selenium with Java
to .NET for future scalability. Driving performance testing with
K6 , ensuring high standards of reliability and efficiency. Establishing best practices for
test automation, performance testing, and quality assurance . Mentoring and guiding QA team members in adopting automation tools and practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software at pace. The Tech You’ll Be Working With
Automation : Selenium (Java transitioning to .NET). Performance Testing : K6. Languages : .NET, Java. Tools : Modern CI/CD pipelines, test reporting tools, and other testing utilities to support robust automation. What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in building and implementing
test automation frameworks . Expertise in
Selenium
(Java and .NET). Hands-on experience with
performance testing tools
such as
K6
or similar. A deep understanding of test strategies, QA processes, and Agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for leading change. What’s in It for You?
