Working with major regulated water companies across the UK & Ireland, Stantec's Wastewater Network Modelling discipline has developed a reputation as one of the industry leaders. Thanks to our reputation in the market, our pipeline of work has continued to grow, with recent appointments to Welsh Water's Engineering Consultancy Framework, Southern Water's Professional Services Framework and South West Water's Engineering Consultancy Framework. These exciting developments mean we can continue to grow our specialist teams and so we now seek a Principal Wastewater Network Modeller to join us in one of our South West offices - Exeter, Bristol or Cardiff. We can offer working from home and flexible working arrangements, a strong pipeline of projects to work on and a great benefits package. You will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team made up of 175 personnel from Stantec, across multiple UK offices and a team in Pune, along with our clients and consultant/contractor partners, collaborating to deliver projects throughout the UK & Ireland. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious and innovative team of engineers, working on a specialist modelling framework whilst contributing to industry leading projects. As a key member of a national team, you will provide technical expertise to projects within the urban drainage environment, whilst supporting the development of more junior team members. You will take part in the planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects, whilst ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance and best practices are upheld as we continue to deliver innovative solutions to our clients across the water industry. About You

To be considered for this opportunity you will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or other relevant subject, and be a member of an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM. You'll have previous experience of leading projects in an urban drainage environment, along with having technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities and a full working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM. You will also have experience in the management and development of staff as well as the ability to integrate well into a team and provide technical leadership to other modelling staff as a leader in an urban drainage environment with an excellent client service focus.
