- Wiltshire - Salary - up to £75,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits - Ref 1833 I am currently recruiting for a Principle Electronics and Software Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Wiltshire. Salary up to £75,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits. The organisation has been in operation for over 30 years and employs close to 70 people. They are experts within the sector that they operate within and have a highly qualified team who work on delivering bespoke and customisable solutions to their end clients across multiple sectors. To support the growth of the business, they now have the need to appoint a Principle Electronics and Software Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing products through the full life cycle. This could include PCB design and schematic capture, digital, analogue, and embedded software. Being a leadership role, you will be expected to lead, mentor, train, and develop the less experienced individuals within the team. This role will be primarily focused on NPI/NPD projects, but there will be a need to support the existing product portfolio as well. Essential Requirements: At least 7 years' experience as an Embedded Software Engineer, Firmware Engineer, Electronics Engineer, or similar Experience working in an Agile environment Experienced working within a TDD (test-driven environment) or BDD (behaviour-driven environment) Experience with PCB Experience with Digital Experience with Analogue Experience with product compliance (ideally EMC/EMI) This is a fantastic opportunity for a Principle Electronics and Software Engineer to join a forward-thinking and innovative company dealing with fascinating technology integrated into their state-of-the-art products.
