JOB-20240830-fed11a3d Are you ready to take on an exciting opportunity as a Prison Cleared Pharmacy Technician in Portland, UK? This role offers a competitive salary of £23.52 hourly for weekdays (PAYE before holiday pay) or £26.36 per hour including holiday pay, equivalent to £30 per hour umbrella. Initially, you will join us for a 3-month contract with the likelihood of an extension. You’ll be working full-time Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, at HMP The Verne, a secure yet rewarding work environment.

What you will do: Provide efficient and accurate pharmaceutical services within the prison, ensuring inmates receive the correct medication and healthcare advice. Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal care and treatment plans are in place for patients. Maintain and manage stock levels of medication and disposables, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards. Conduct medication reviews and provide clinical advice, contributing to the health and wellbeing of the prison population. Ensure documentation and records are accurately maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements. Requirements of the Prison/HMP Pharmacy Technician:

Must be registered on the GPHC/must have a relevant qualification in pharmacy. Prison clearance and experience is essential.
