The Department: Our client’s Private Client & Tax department is recognised as one of the leading practices in the country. The team advises both UK and international clients with diverse asset bases, including luxury assets such as art, yachts, and classic cars, as well as traditional landed estates. The firm specialises in proactive estate planning, trusts, commercial, and wealth protection advice, always with a focus on preserving and enhancing clients’ wealth while ensuring compliance and reputational integrity. Due to continued growth, the team is looking to hire a bright, motivated Associate to join their London office. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly, busy, and successful team, with opportunities to take on significant responsibilities and grow professionally. Summary of the Role: The successful candidate will have experience advising on complex wealth holding and family office structures, as well as the associated tax issues. Knowledge of trusts and wealth structures in various jurisdictions, both common law and case law, is essential. The individual will receive Partner-led support but will also have the opportunity to lead on matters and develop their business and practice. Skills & Experience: Strong academic background, with at least a 2.1 degree and A, B, B at A Level. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a private client or tax department, ideally from a reputable City or West End firm. Expertise in complex wealth holding and family office structures, as well as tax-related issues. Knowledge of international trusts and wealth structures. Strong technical skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. A proactive, self-starting attitude with drive and initiative. Ambitious and committed to developing both technical skills and the team’s profile. STEP membership is preferred but not essential.
