Our client, a well-known legal practice and one of the leading firms in the north for private client work, is recruiting for a solicitor. As part of their large, well-established private client team, you will deal with a variety of private client work, including:
Advising on wills
Executry administration
Succession planning
Trust work
Tax advice
You will be involved in managing a portfolio of clients in areas such as trusts, high-net-worth cases, landed estates, and all areas of tax planning, as well as planning for the firm’s private client base. You will also support with contentious private client work and complex trust matters, including:
Challenges to wills
Beneficiary disagreements
Legal rights claims
An array of trust problems
You can also expect to support and train more junior members of the team, while participating in business development. You will be comfortable dealing with clients, managing a variety of work, and keen to meet new people as you network and support business development across the firm.

Requirements:
- Applicants must have private client experience
- Ideally between 1-4 years post-qualified
