On behalf of our client, we are seeking an ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join the Private Client team in their Brixham Office. The firm has plans to develop and grow the Private Client team and aims for the team to be at the heart of the business, working with all clients for their lifetime planning work as well as continuing to develop the probate work for the future.
The Role:
Provide a high quality and effective legal service.
Promote and develop the department internally and externally.
Promote and develop the firm.
Maintain the high reputation of the firm.
For the role, you should be able to produce a high quality service, maintain excellent file administration, and work successfully with other Lawyers and support staff. Experience of working independently in the area of private client including all aspects of Probate and Power of Attorney matters will be essential. The successful candidate will have access to mentors and colleagues to offer support.
You should have PQE of 2 years or have carried a full private client-based caseload for a minimum of 3 years. ACTAPS and/or STEP membership is welcomed but not essential.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on exceptional client care.
The position would suit someone who is able to use their initiative, is highly organised, accurate, proactive, and committed to meeting deadlines while remaining calm under pressure. Excellent all-round communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and attention to detail are essential. You will also have a flexible approach and the ability to work well within a team environment.
