Private Client Solicitor Salisbury Excellent opportunity for an experienced Probate solicitor to join a highly successful private client department known for its high-quality workload. The team have a new opportunity for a newly qualified - 3 PQE solicitor to join their enthusiastic and specialist probate team, where significant training and support will be provided. Working closely with other members of the wider private client department and contentious trusts and probate team, you will be acting on behalf of charities involving complex grant applications and administering large and complex taxable estates including large farms and landed estates; some of which have international aspects. You will either be keen to achieve or already have these abilities: Be a member of STEP or ATT/CTA qualified Have a high level of technical expertise including the application of business property and agricultural property reliefs and the calculation of inheritance tax when there are exempt and non-exempt beneficiaries Have excellent client care skills including an ability to build long term relationships with clients Be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a team and be enthusiastic and ambitious for the team Be inquisitive, proactive, organised and efficient with good attention to detail The firm put all of their tax solicitors through the ATT / CTA qualification and provide 17 days study leave per exam plus the exam itself. The team is based in our Salisbury office, but you would be able to work from home on a flexible basis too.
