With a commitment to internal progression, combined with our continuous growth, there is ample opportunities for promotion.Job DescriptionWe’re seeking a talented individual to join our Private Client Tax team in tunbridge wells, which is responsible for the management of portfolios of personal clients with complex tax affairs, HNWIs with a focus on private equity executives, entrepreneurs and trusts.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver excellent client service by maintaining client relationships and liaise proactively with clients on advisory mattersDay to day responsibility for meeting both client and compliance deadlines, monitoring time limits and electionsAssisting Partners and Directors in, and where appropriate, lead tax planning projects such as succession planning using trusts and corporate structures, capital gains and inheritance tax issuesManage HMRC enquiries and disclosures and dealing with HMRC correspondence of both compliance and advisory natureResponsible for billing and monitoring budgetsReview compliance and basic advisory work prepared by more junior members of staffAssist with managing junior member of staff including helping them with technical and personal developmentPresent at technical training sessionsEngage in personal business development activities and support business development activities of the teamMaintain technical knowledgeQualificationsKey Skills and ExperienceSignificant relevant experience gained within a professional services firm.Sound knowledge of private client tax issues and dealing with complex capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters.Demonstrable experience of delivering tax planning/advisory projects.Demonstrable experience of managing complex compliance issues.People management and organisational experience Professional Qualifications and EducationQualified Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax AdviserAdditional InformationAs a colleague here at Evelyn Partners, you will have access to benefits that include:Competitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionHybrid working model (role dependant)Generous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
