An excellent opportunity has arisen with a respected alternative asset manager, recognised as one of the top European private debt fundraisers. Our client is looking to expand their Client and Product team to support the growth of their structured capital and special situations fund. This role sits between the investment and client-facing teams, making it ideal for someone with an IR or Product specialist background. Duties include: Support fundraising activities by preparing high-quality marketing materials, such as presentation decks, RFPs, and DDQs for client proposals and meetings, ensuring timely delivery and attention to detail. Act as the main point of contact for sales teams and prospective investors, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Stay informed on market trends and adjust strategies to enhance the firm’s positioning and appeal to various investor segments. Manage key business milestones, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and timelines for fundraising, product launches, and client engagement. Provide regular updates on market trends, portfolio performance, and investment strategy to keep existing clients well-informed. Maintain a deep understanding of the fund’s strategy, enabling you to effectively address technical questions from clients and provide informed solutions. Necessary qualifications, experience and competencies: 6-10 years of experience to drive strategic initiatives. Expertise in a Product Specialist or Investor Relations role, with a solid understanding of private market dynamics. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong interest and expertise in structured debt and private markets. Open to a broad range of candidates, including those from placement agents, asset management, investment banking, private credit, or corporate credit as long as they demonstrate a genuine interest and strong alignment with the role. Due to the increased applications for this role, we apologise that you may not get a response unless you fit the criteria. At our company, we prioritise equity throughout the entire recruitment process. We are committed to ensuring fairness and equal opportunities for all candidates. If there is anything we can do to make the process more accessible to you, please don't hesitate to let us know.
