This position involves leading the private client tax department and providing expert tax advisory services. The Private Tax Director will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of high net worth clients and driving the strategic growth of the tax department. Expertise in Trusts planning & advisory is preferred. Client Details Our client is a well-established accountancy firm with a significant presence across South West, offering comprehensive compliance & advisory services. With a split tax function, our client is looking to grow their specialist Private Tax team to partner with local solicitors, HNWI's & agricultural clients. Description Lead the private client tax department and manage a portfolio of high net worth clients. Deliver high-level tax advisory services. Develop and implement strategies for departmental growth. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated services to clients. Foster a positive and high-performing work environment within the department. Stay updated with the latest industry developments and changes in tax legislation. Profile A successful Private Tax Director should have: A professional qualification in Tax or Accountancy - ATT, ACA, ACCA, CTA (QBE will be considered). Proven experience in a tax leadership role within a professional services firm. Excellent knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team. Outstanding client relationship management skills. The ability to develop and implement strategic plans. Job Offer An attractive salary package in the range of £65,000-£85,000.
