Are you a skilled professional with a passion for process innovation and delivering exceptional results? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Process Development Controller to join a forward-thinking team and lead the journey from product concept to successful launch.

Role Purpose Reporting to the Head of Product Development, you'll lead the Process Development Team to scale up innovative products. You'll oversee critical paths, ensure smooth trials and launches, and strategically plan for future growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities Project Management:

Balance product trials, pre-production, and launches to ensure timelines and objectives are met.

Team Leadership:

Guide and motivate the team to achieve performance goals and exceed expectations.

Financial Oversight:

Monitor and report margin trends, ensuring adherence to budgets for trials and new product development.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.

Performance Development:

Support team growth through regular 1:1s and personal development planning.

Strategic Innovation:

Collaborate across functions to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements.

What We're Looking For Education & Expertise:

Ideally educated to degree level in a food-related or technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and technical performance indicators.

Experience:

Proven success in managing product launches and delivering results.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects forward.

Skills & Leadership:

Exceptional leadership qualities with a talent for inspiring and developing teams.

Strong planning and organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport across all levels.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in MS Office and business systems such as SAP.

A full, clean driving license is preferred for occasional travel requirements.
