Airswift is recruiting for 2 Process Engineers who will work for an engineering company based in Glasgow, United Kingdom.

The company focuses on water treatment solutions design and manufacture and energy recovery units for the oil & gas industry. They have been awarded a large FPSO project and are looking to work with 2 experienced Process Engineers, starting as soon as possible for a 6 months renewable contract.

Main duties:

Designing process systems and preparing all related engineering documentation including but not limited to: P&ID, Heat and Mass Balance Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Outline Control Philosophy, System Head Loss Calculations, and Datasheets. Supporting the set up and development of the Glasgow office and providing cross-functional support, technical, commercial, and administrative where appropriate. Day to day allocation and control of resources. Participation in compliance with all HSEQ regulations. Supporting engineering staff on technical issues. Providing technical content and participating in tenders for the Upstream Offshore Water Treatment Systems market and ensuring they are prepared in a timely manner, in accordance with Company procedures and defined by the go/no go decision for a bid. Client liaison on technical and commercial aspects of the project. Attendance at client and vendor KOM's, progress, inspections, HAZOP meetings, etc. Bid Tab Preparation/Review. Package engineering.

Competence requirements: Education: CEng or equivalent work experience in an Engineering discipline Chartered Engineer. Minimum 7 years of experience in an Oil and Gas/water treatment business with responsibility for relevant project deliveries. Self-starter with strong leadership and decision-making skills. Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Possess good judgment, high level of problem-solving skills and pay close attention to detail. Proven ability to multi-task and efficiently respond to changing priorities. Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat or similar.
