Process/Chemical Engineer

is based in Springfields, Lancashire, United Kingdom. Your Day-to-Day:

Support operations in monitoring control parameters to identify trends in chemical processes. Lead problem solving activities on technical opportunities relating to chemical processes. Develop and implement continuous improvement solutions in both processes and systems. Lead and engage with multi-disciplined groups at all levels of the organisation. Lead a team to deliver production, quality and safety challenges. Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: Engineering Degree (minimum 2:1) Preferred experience of working in a chemical and/or processing environment, keeping the environment and safety of people in mind. Strategic mindset with the ability to keep the big picture in focus and make engineering decisions based on a good understanding of the technical detail. Leadership skills to take a team forward and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver tasks successfully. Be able to develop self and the team to enable beneficial skills, knowledge and behaviours. Be able to provide and receive feedback to provide focus and results. Strong analytical and logical skills to be enable creativity and innovation when designing and implementing ideas. Be organised and able to achieve goals and set tasks for self and others within a timescale. Excellent engagement, communication and co-ordination skills. Good knowledge of technology and resources to optimise work by efficiently completing research to the overall growth and/or production.
