Key Responsibilities as the Process Engineer: Providing support for the manufacturing function to resolve any process concerns or issues. Collaborating with the wider team to help achieve planned KPIs and outputs. Gathering data and developing mechanisms for effective data capture to enable monitoring and analysing. Developing robust process documentation to help standardise practices and reduce risk. Investigation of process and manufacturing issues to identify root cause. Development and implementation of process improvement activities. Supporting new product introduction. Coordinating with the maintenance team for resolution of equipment issues. What you need to apply: Experience in a process, production, or manufacturing engineering role in a manufacturing environment. A technical or engineering qualification (HNC or above) in a field such as mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, metallurgy, material science, etc. is desirable. Experience of gathering data, analysing data, and standardising processes and procedures. Knowledge of Lan and CI tools such as RCA, Kaizen, SPC, 5WHYs, etc. About the company: Our prestigious client, a family-run stalwart of South Wales boasting a 55-year legacy, is part of an expansive international group. They are renowned for their continuous investment in the site and for nurturing a supportive, tight-knit team culture. Your package: You will receive a salary of £37,000-£45,000 (dependent on experience), pension and 25 days holiday plus the bank holidays. Your working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8 am - 4:30 pm; Fridays, 8 am - 2:30 pm.
