Are you looking for a new career opportunity in Process Engineering? Expleo is recruiting Process Engineers to join our team on-site with a major automotive supplier. You will support current production and the development and operation of an innovative, world-class mass manufacturing factory. This role is based at our client's site in Sunderland and can be offered on either a contract or permanent basis. Responsibilities for the Process Engineer roles include: Delivering a specified zone from design to mass production. Representing the engineering department in all aspects from the initial project phase to mass production. Developing processes from design to integration and implementation, attending design reviews, and collaborating with equipment suppliers. Setting and measuring process performance, aiming for class-leading, challenging but achievable standards. Providing and approving process engineering documentation to ensure standard operations are followed at all production stages. Planning, schedule control, and project management. Procuring production facilities and processes. Skills and experience required for the Process Engineer role: Degree/HND/HNC and/or 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Experience with complex technical manufacturing processes and/or special purpose assembly machines is a distinct advantage. Previous experience in high-volume manufacturing; clean/dry room experience is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of current machinery standards legislation. Experience working within the APQP and IAFT framework is desirable. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
