Valmet Flow Control, Inc. (f/k/a Neles USA, Inc.) seeks a Process Improvement Supervisor in Shrewsbury, MA. Job Summary

The candidate will improve processes by using the latest technologies in manufacturing to reduce costs, improve safety, and increase operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Participate in setting operational metrics to monitor activity using data analytic tools. Extract, transform, and load data from various sources like ERP systems, data warehouses, and other third-party software. Analyze metrics and identify root causes for poor efficiency using statistical analysis and Six-Sigma methodologies. Help with digitization processes on the plant floor using Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate). Advise in the development of plant layouts, material handling, and storage areas. Initiate and implement cost reduction and capital avoidance projects. Identify improvement areas within production operations. Lead current and future state value stream mapping exercises to determine and document business improvement and Kaizen opportunities. Develop standard work and line balancing. Ensure standard work includes quality procedures and specifications. Run continuous improvement with systematic root cause elimination using lean and quality tools. Utilize KANBAN and supermarket to trigger and manage production. Teach and coach employees on the principles of Lean manufacturing. Minimum Requirements

Requires a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field, and 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. 40 hours/week, $106,642 per year.
