Process Safety Engineer
This Process Safety Engineer opportunity is built around our client, a leading independent Oil & Gas operator, based in Norwich, are currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to be a member of their Process Safety Team. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Engineering work involved
Our client, a leading independent Oil & Gas operator, based in Norwich, are currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to be a member of their Process Safety Team. Managing, facilitate and participate in HAZOP and LOPA studies. Provide technical input and guidance for process safety studies such as FERA, FTA, HAZID and QRA.
Technical skills and requirements
- Provide technically sound engineering solutions to close risk gaps, ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and company standards.
- Have a strong process engineering background, significant experience in process safety, and a deep understanding of risk assessment methodologies and functional safety standards, p.
- Experience in LOPA facilitation, SIL determination, SIF design and SIL verification are essential.
Practical information
- This is a full-time role requiring regular travel to both onshore and offshore sites.
- Additional detail: Training or development support may be provided.
