Process Technician

Location: Lincolnshire (A46 / A15 area)

Salary: £26,401 - £36,385 + shift premium

Having been established for over a century, my client is a particularly secure company and market-leader in the manufacture of bearing technologies for a variety of industries. They believe the excellent reputation they have maintained in the marketplace has been built on providing their clients with 'first class' products and the investment they make in their highly skilled workforce - who are always recognized and rewarded.

Due to further strategic expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a Process Technician to join them at their facility in Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and improving stages of the manufacturing process that are under your control. Understanding processes in great detail to identify when the process is deviating from the norm and taking action to correct it. Maintaining accurate and clear documentation that proves processes are being carried out in accordance with both internal and external regulations. Gathering data from processes and reporting findings to senior staff members. Problem solving (RCCA and 5 Why's). Conducting process audits. Deploying process improvements - scrap, rework, downtime, and productivity. Creating and maintaining documentation and specifications. Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.

Minimum Requirements: In an ideal world, my client would like to find someone who possesses an NVQ in Engineering Manufacture (or equivalent) and who has already worked in the role of Process Technician within a fast-moving manufacturing environment. Regardless of previous expertise, you will be diligent, target-oriented, and have a keen eye for detail.

Benefits: In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of £25,228 - £35,686, plus an excellent benefits package including 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank holidays), subsidised health care, personal accident plan, long service award, bike to work scheme, death in service benefit, and a matched pension of 5%. Overtime is also readily available for those who want it.

The role operates on a rotating shift pattern of earlies and lates. The hours for the morning shift will be Monday - Thursday 6am - 1.35pm and 6am - 12.45pm on a Friday, and the hours for the late shift will be Monday to Thursday 1.25pm - 9.05pm and 12.35pm - 7pm on a Friday.
