Procurement Assistant Location: Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid – 50% of week in Office) Annual salary + bonus and benefits

We are looking for a meticulous and organised Procurement Assistant to join the Haven team in Hemel Hempstead. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring legal compliance and smooth supplier onboarding. You will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining supplier records, conducting due diligence, and supporting the procurement process across our business. Your Opportunity:

Manage supplier onboarding and maintain accurate records of our supplier pool, including contracts, insurance documents, and certifications. Conduct due diligence checks (e.g., AML, PEP, credit worthiness) for new supplier submissions, identification checks and assist with compliance reporting. Coordinate supplier account changes, including name updates or legal entity status through our procurement system (COUPA). Ensure documentation is up-to-date, including supplier contracts and externally facing documents. Support IT troubleshooting of supplier accounts in collaboration with product teams. Assist with the Master Compliance Report for regular reporting. Collaborate with finance and business teams to drive continuous improvement in the procurement process.

What We’d Like You to Bring: Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Basic knowledge of good onboarding practices, due diligence, and compliance. Experience in procurement, supplier management or compliance would be highly advantageous, as would familiarity with P2P platforms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, finance, and legal.
