Procurement Business Partner
to develop strategic relationships with business functions, enhance decision-making processes, and create additional value from supplier engagements. This role involves implementing a procurement business partnering strategy aligned with business needs, delivering a customer-centric procurement service, and identifying opportunities for improvements in cost, quality, service, innovation, and ESG impacts. ASAP Key Responsibilities: Develop strategic relationships with business functions to enhance decision-making and create additional value from supplier engagements. Implement a procurement business partnering strategy aligned with business needs and Procurement’s objectives. Proactively plan and manage demand aligned with business functions' strategies, identifying opportunities for improvements in cost, quality, service, innovation, and ESG impacts. Act as an advisor to the business on all matters related to 3rd party spend, procurement processes, systems, policies, procedures, market dynamics, opportunities, and supply chain risk. Manage strategic supply chain relationships, including conducting regular reviews of strategic supplier contracts to ensure continued commercial value. Support the creation and implementation of negotiation plans with the Procurement Delivery Team to fulfil stakeholder needs. Manage projects and deliver sourcing initiatives that may involve significant change management. Engage with Finance Business Partners, providing input into the budgeting process and tracking savings. Deliver strategic initiatives and support the responsible procurement strategy through appropriate practices. Key Experience: Hold MCIPS or be working towards it. Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle concepts and procedures. Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels, both internally and externally. Experience in contract law and supplier management. Strong reporting and presentation skills. Experience in procurement project and programme management. Strategic supply chain relationship management experience. Knowledge of SAP Ariba. Additional Information: The procurement team consists of 30 people globally (Bangalore, US), with 20 in the UK. Working times may include evening calls to accommodate global colleagues. Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the face of procurement to the business, working with stakeholders to understand their plans and objectives, and helping them navigate procurement processes.
