Procurement Business Partner

for a

6 month contract

based in

Derby

hybrid . Job description - the role The Procurement Business Partner will understand business needs and be responsible for developing relationships in a busy aerospace supply chain environment. As a Procurement Business Partner you will be responsible for: Manage relationships with key personnel, working with multiple stakeholders at various levels across the business. Ensure business needs are upheld; contractual terms are adhered to, negotiate where required and deliver viable solutions. Deliver projects to agreed time, cost and quality parameters. Identify and manage risks and issues proactively. Direct and motivate teams that aren't necessarily direct reports. What we require from the candidate: Previous experience with implementing and developing process improvement projects within busy procurement or supply chain environments, ensuring effective and open communication throughout. Previous experience in a senior procurement role, displaying effective business partnerships, ideally within an aerospace engineering environment. Project management experience within procurement or supply chain. A commercial mindset with a deep understanding of cost, and cost-saving initiatives/process improvements.
