About the Role As a Category Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategies for the programme, ensuring delivery of critical tools, components, and solutions. This is a strategic role requiring strong supplier relationship management, commercial negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in a regulated industry. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute end-to-end procurement strategies, including strategic sourcing and supplier selection. Build and nurture supplier relationships, ensuring high performance and alignment with KPIs. Oversee the commercial negotiation process, from RFI/RFP to contract award. Utilise data and insights to identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies. Contribute to process and tool development, including ERP system management (e.g., RFQs, POs, supplier onboarding). Support supplier readiness for production ramp-up through development activities. What We’re Looking For Experience in procurement within a regulated or complex industry. Strong contract and project management skills. A degree in a relevant field or a CIPS qualification (or equivalent experience). Experience in procuring engineering or complex systems. 26 days holiday
